My Class

Many of my students don’t seem to realize how important their college education really is. They thing that they’re here just to party and make friends which is partly true, but they’re also paying tuition so they can learn and grow as scholars. I teach an entry level marketing class here at school and I always encourage all of my students to get clear wireless internet when they first begin my class. I like to send out notes and manage grades through an online system the school endorses and that way no one can complain they didn’t get anything. My kids are great, don’t get me wrong, but 18 year old will often find any excuse they cannot to have to do work. They’re not necessarily lazy, they just don’t understand yet exactly what responsibility means. College is the perfect time for them to learn that, though, and my class is set up to help teach them. I’m hard on my students but it’s only because I want them to succeed.
