House Maintainance

We were just renting a unit in an apartment here in Bentonville. We were lucky coz every maintainance needed in the house is free like when your faucet is not functioning, etc. just the cleaning is all you have to do. I wonder how it is to have your own house and how you maintain cleanliness and orderliness in each every part of the house especially now that's consistently raining here and it's messy everywhere because of the muddy streets outside.

We have some friends here owned a house already and they really need a help when they need to fix or clean something in their house. Like the very wide carpet in each floors of the rooms, I am using vacuum when cleaning ours and that's already hard, what more if you have 4 to 5 rooms with carpet? Not to mention cleaning their so many furniture. I am wondering how they could manage all of that?

If I am in that situation, I'll probably just hire a professional like residential carpet cleaner austin that can offer anything you need and let them do it for me. I am not used to cleaning big house yet maybe that's why it's better not to have our own house yet. I should practice first with our apartment. Do some do-it-your-self cleaning and maintaining.

Mommy Moments : Birthday Photos

Happy Mommy Moments everyone!
So, birthdays...I love birthday parties but we don't party every year. My little angels' birthday last year was kinda happy but unhappy because daddy wasn't there to celebrate.
Here's my Kids' latest birthday photos...

I love celebrating my angels birthday, they are the greatest gift God had give to me and to my husband. If possible, I wanted a birthday party yearly but somehow we still need to think of our priorities. This latest birthday of them were unexpected, we didn't plan on it, it just happened. I guess husband was just guilty being away from us working abroad and it's the only way he could make our kids happy and he did! My kids are happy during the party but there were times they are thinking about their dad being not there. Then there comes the never ending explanation again why daddy wasn't there with us. But it's okay coz everything went well, thanks to the party planner who happened to be ME and I made sure my kids will surely enjoy their day! Their daddy asked what they wanted for their party then I planned for it. I personally made the lootbags , balloon decors and giveaways. I just love doing that! If I have longer time I suppose to order personal stuff like nap mats or toddler bagpack made in embroidery dallas. But shipping is quite long so I decided to make things available in Divisoria. :D
I wonder how my kids will celebrate their birthdays now that we're here in US. I guess going to the park is the simplest yet fun way! What do you think?

MMM : Slaughter Pen Hollow

Mommy and Me Monday at Really, Are You Serious?
Hello there fellow mommies! I am so excited to share to you our another adventure last weekend. The whole family went to Slaughter Pen Hollow to hike! We just had a walk and picture takings, we walked about 5 miles aways in almost two hours. My kids got tired not because of the miles but because of the heat of the sun. The weather was fine, it was like you’re in the Philippines but I never sweat lol. I am really having a hard time sweating even I am working out in a gym so don’t expect me to sweat especially if we just walked.

Here’s some of our photos with my kiddos…daddy was the one in-charge with the camera so what we do is pose and pose :D

I love the place, it’s a trail actually for cycling but we don’t have a bike yet so we just walk and sometimes jog through. I had fun walking, it is really fun doing something with your family. I love to do that again!

Here’s our pics taken while hiking…

Mommy Moments : School Break

mommy moments

Kids finished their school earlier than the scheduled school break in the Philippines, now that were here in Arkansas we will be stocked in the house for more than few months before going back to school again. We missed the most fun season in the Philippines, the summer break! We all love summer even though the sun is as hot as hell! Why not if we can do many things during summer, right? My kids love swimming, they are actually waiting for summer. Right now, our summer plans were cancelled since it's not summer here, it's spring time! Almost like summer but there were times that it's still cold even it's sunny day. There is a swimming pool within our village and my kids kept on requesting to go swim already(without knowing that they can possibly freeze there).
Plans, as I've said no plans yet for summer :D For now, our plan is to stay at home, play with the kids, watch, maybe teach them some art activities or cooking stuff. I wanna bake with my kids but there are lots of thing we need to invest first, so maybe that's the last thing on my list.

Happy Mommy Moments! :)

'New Home Sweet Home' Website

I wanted to introduce my new website 'NEW HOME SWEET HOME' website. I officially made our Family Website to capture and share our daily experiences here in AR. This website "www dot lisingfamily dot com" is open to everyone! Please visit it sometimes and leave your comments.
You will se my template there that I bought from a template maker comes with free logos and signature for very affordable prices. I would like this site to have one soon but I am thinking of different logos designs first that fits this blog if ever I have 'my little angels' domain already. I wish I can purchase one but the last time I checked only dot infos are the only available for 'my little angel' name. If you want to purchase a personalized template just contact KAYE of wahmaholic dot com.

Congratulations to all of us Moms! Congratulations for another year has passed and another milestones for us!

My kids finished their studies before we left, Ethan finished as Junior Casa or Nursery and Ishi finished Junior Advance Casa or Kinder I. We purposedly scheduled our flight in March to catch up with the 4th quarter exam. My kids took their exam 1 week in advance since our flight then was 11th of March and their real exam was March 16-19.

I was happy they finished their studies even though they are more excited counting down days than going to school coz they know we will be leaving so soon. Nursery doesn't have graduation in La Cabecera de Montessori (where my kids studied), only Kinder II has. But I already experience them graduate during their 'saling pusa' stage at the age of 2 and half and I already know the feeling though they are so little by that time.

I am really glad they made it without my supervision for the last 2 months of their schooling, I maybe busy that time but they are still going to school with their Lola Taba.

Now that we're here, I guess they will be back to Zero. Ethan will be in Pre K (I hope) and Ishi will be in Kindergarten. It's spring time break but we were getting ready for another school year coming.

I am excited for them but I am worried about bullies esp. for Ethan. He's very vulnerable, he easily cries and I am afraid he'll be like that in school. I hope not.

Happy Mommy Moments to all of us here! Again Congratulations!

Giving Personalized Gifts

I wanted to make photobooks again but it requires money to be able to print it. I don't wanna make digital photobooks without printing it so better not to start it. I also miss ordering personalized things for my friends and for my kids like personalized tote bags and kids bagpack.
I remember the last gift I gave them were personalized coin purse and shopping bags, I am glad they liked it. I like giving gifts that are personalized, I really love it! I wish I could make some more for them but I have now my priorities, I can't just spent money for these items for there are more important things that I have to prioritize first in our house. First we need to buy additional appliances for our house or save for the things we really need like dallas lawn maintenance.
No matter how I wanted to make stuff I used to do before, I can't do it now. I wish I could have a job sooner so I could choose and buy what I want.

My Little Angels New Friends

For our two weeks stay here in AR, my kids seem to like it in here. They love the house, the weather (not for me) and the surroundings. They love to go out and run around the village, but sometimes the weather is not good for them to stay outside the house. My kids loves to go out, mingle and play with other kids that's why we are bringing them to the park, bringing them to dad's pinoy friends and meet other people.

My kids are not hard to get along, they were friendly, and they were happy to meet their new friends here...

Meet the 'KUYA's,' (big brothers) they are the sons of dad's Pinoy friends/office mates.

My angels met them two weeks ago in a party and they got along well. They played with this bay blade thing and they enjoyed it.

MEET Tanya...

Tanya is our neighbor from the ground floor of the apartment, she's an Indian but an American Citizen. She seem kind so I am hoping they will become good friends. Ishi was visiting her sometimes.

I am hoping they would meet more friends soon!
