Mommy Moments : School Break

Kids finished their school earlier than the scheduled school break in the Philippines, now that were here in Arkansas we will be stocked in the house for more than few months before going back to school again. We missed the most fun season in the Philippines, the summer break! We all love summer even though the sun is as hot as hell! Why not if we can do many things during summer, right? My kids love swimming, they are actually waiting for summer. Right now, our summer plans were cancelled since it's not summer here, it's spring time! Almost like summer but there were times that it's still cold even it's sunny day. There is a swimming pool within our village and my kids kept on requesting to go swim already(without knowing that they can possibly freeze there).

Plans, as I've said no plans yet for summer :D For now, our plan is to stay at home, play with the kids, watch, maybe teach them some art activities or cooking stuff. I wanna bake with my kids but there are lots of thing we need to invest first, so maybe that's the last thing on my list.

Mommy Moments : Congratulations!

Congratulations to all of us Moms! Congratulations for another year has passed and another milestones for us!

My kids finished their studies before we left, Ethan finished as Junior Casa or Nursery and Ishi finished Junior Advance Casa or Kinder I. We purposedly scheduled our flight in March to catch up with the 4th quarter exam. My kids took their exam 1 week in advance since our flight then was 11th of March and their real exam was March 16-19.

I was happy they finished their studies even though they are more excited counting down days than going to school coz they know we will be leaving so soon. Nursery doesn't have graduation in La Cabecera de Montessori (where my kids studied), only Kinder II has. But I already experience them graduate during their 'saling pusa' stage at the age of 2 and half and I already know the feeling though they are so little by that time.

I am really glad they made it without my supervision for the last 2 months of their schooling, I maybe busy that time but they are still going to school with their Lola Taba.

Now that we're here, I guess they will be back to Zero. Ethan will be in Pre K (I hope) and Ishi will be in Kindergarten. It's spring time break but we were getting ready for another school year coming.

I am excited for them but I am worried about bullies esp. for Ethan. He's very vulnerable, he easily cries and I am afraid he'll be like that in school. I hope not.

Mommy Moments : Kids and Mom's First Flight

Hi everyone! I am now officially using this website for Mommy Moments instead of using "Me, Myself and Jes', and I am so happy to be back to blogniverse! :)

Here's my entry for this week, a WHITE BOARDING pass.
Just in time to share our first unforgettable flight experience.



This white boarding pass was given to us in MIA Terminal 2.

We got 3 boarding passes, 1st was for Manila to Narita Japan, 2nd, Narita to Atlantha. This second trip was a horrible experience for a Mom like me who was alone with two kids, we were boarding when we experience that 3 consecutive strong earthquakes. At first, I though it as just part of boarding experience, I just learned it from the stewardess when the earth quake stopped. I didn't panicked for I can't see any worried face inside that plane. They were all calmed and patiently waiting for us to fly. I started to worry when our trip was canceled that day but thank God for we can be able to fly in the evening after waiting for 5 hours inside the plane.
Our 3rd passes was for trip to ARKANSAS from Atlanta. This is the most exciting part for us three. We were all so excited to see dad. We just flew for 2 hours and then we were at last reunited! So happy!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the people who had been worried for us and prayed for our safety.

Mommy Moments : Kissing Scene

I'm gonna use this other blog of mine to join MM today coz my other blog is not up by now. Hubby is experimenting on it ;))

My kids are so sweet, my daughter often kiss me and say "I LOVE YOU MOM" with eye contact. My son is also sweet but he doesn't know how to initiate first. I am always asking him to kiss me and he will give me a couple of it.

They are also sweet to their dad. Their Dad loves hugging them and kissing them too that's why husband is missing the kids so badly. ;(

Opps...enough with the sadness...let's all be happy in MOMMY MOMENTS!!!

MM : Snack Time

Snack time! Nice theme! I wonder if it's school snack time or any kinda snack time, but anyways, wherever the kids are there's always a snack time!!!!

Ishi and Ethan were not that much of an eater....they are just eating bunch of foods when they are in the mood, my mom usually says when they does it, "nag trip na naman ang mga anak mo". They can finish two packs of biscuits if they really want to. But most of the time, they just eat one ot two or sometimes nothing at all. My kids are very choosy!

In school, their baon is always rice and nuggets and some biscuits just in case they are not in the mood to eat rice. And their drinks is "walang kamatayang" C2 Solo!!! =))

At home, Ishi usually requests "champorado" or my "spaghetti" lols.
Sometimes they want bread with star margarine and have it toast. They also like instant pancit canton. Ice cream is one of their favorites too! But before I give them food, I have to ask them first coz "sayang lang' if they will not eat it.




Hays, kids are so hard to feed. What we only want as a mom is to give them proper nutrition. MOMMY career is really a hard job but every moment is fulfilling. Have a happy mommy moments everyone!

MM: Kids and Bags

Weeeeeeeeee! Mommy Moments time!
So another school thingy huh?
Bags...bags...oh my Little Angel Ishi has lots of bags but she seldom use it. She is not yet into bags when going out. She just want to bring one but eventually the bag is in my bag already =P

Let me just show you their school bags. They love it because it's trolley. I hate their bags because it's bigger than them lols.

Mommy MOments : Summer Time

Summer time! Hooray! My kids love summer! My kids love swimming. We already had 3 outings since March, but we only had one swimming. I know we wouldn't be able to go to resort yet coz we're saving for Pagudpod Vacation this holy week so I just bought my kids a mini swimming pool located in our terrace. They really love it! They were using it twice a day. This is a fun activity for my kids. But aside from swimming, I am also planning some activities for them. Ishi is in gymnast school while I'm still looking for Ethan. He's only three and gymnastics is not "puwede" to him yet. I was thinking if I could just bring him along and watch his ate. But before that we we're going to Pagudpod this holy week and spend our vacation there. So hoping for more fun fun fun in the beach! Our kids will surely love that outing. =) And for me naman, I am thinking or enrolling in a boxing gym after our vacation. I am so bloated na and I need to loose weight. =)

MM : Fieldtrips

Happy MM to all!
It's really nice to be back here in MM....nice talking bout our kids again and all. Hays...fieldtrip huh? My fist field trip experience with my daughter is really a fun experience for both of us. I am more excited than her actually.
We visited different areas in MAkati like the Makati fire Station where Ishi fall asleep already after we watched "Giant and the Beanstalk" in Glorietta, and had a tour inside the Airforce Museum. Timing coz we headed to Avilon Zoo in Ortigas after she sneak a nap, good thing about that is that she recharged more energy for the zoo. My daughter loves it very much. We actually wanted to go back there soon with daddy and my son Ethan.

Mommy Moments: Cars and Kids

I'm Back!!!!
Howdee everyone! Looks like everybody's having fun!
So our theme is cars and kids huh? My son love cars! I love buying cars for my son than robots. I often saw him playing alone with his cars on his hands and I can see how much he love cars. When we're going to the mall he often wants to ride a battery operated cars. I don't have a picture of that yet but I will surely take one next time. I just wanna share our latest adventure...we went to tagaytay and we tried this Zipline and cable car activity. It's fun! My kids love it! You should try this!

I know in myself that I can drive a car already...I just needed a practice. Unfortunately we don't have our own car yet. I don't wanna use my Mom in Law's car coz I 'm afraid I could bump it!

Mommy Moments : That's my Favorite!

Aw Im so late again....I never had a chance to blog for 3 days because of Bagyong Ondoy. Last friday Ishi had her dental check up. I'm so thankful she cooperated with the dentist. She opened her mouth and the dentist had the chance to put a"filling" on her tooth that is aching for almost a week now. So for being nice and cooperative, I brought her and her brother to McDonalds. Yeah Mc Donalds, that's their favorite hang out. Mc Donalds with play land. They are really enjoying the slide and the food. They love chicken Nuggets, spaghetti and Fries. I am so glad that there's a new Mc Donalds Play land near our place that if ever my kiddos would like to play, I can bring them without my hubby's company. That's all for now! Happy MM everyone!

Mommy Moments day! Hooray! This topic is hard coz most of the pics I had were all treasured. I love pics, every single pics that I took are all precious to me. Just wanna share some pics that I am really keeping all this time and I don't wanna loose it.


Remember this pics mommy Chris? Remember when Architect of Sweet..Pretty..NAughty offered us a free pop art made by her? I chose these pics of my two kids Ishi and Ethan. I love these pictures of them. I love all of their pictures hugging and kissing but these two are my favorite. Another reason why I am treasuring this is because, I love the way Architect did it. It's so colorful and I find it very nice talaga. I really wanted to print a copy of it sana it's just that, this pic that Architect gave me is too small. I wanted to request another one from her but she's too busy with her work and one and only sweet, pretty, naughty daughter.

Mommy Moments : Hat Day!

Happy Mommy Moments Everyone!!! I tried to finish my entry early so I could visit some mommies who are also participating this meme. I always tend to finish and submit my entry so late. Hope I am not late this time!

I was again having a hard time thinking where could I possibly get a photos with a hat of my kiddos. I have lots of pics in my portable hard drive and I need to browse them again before I could finally look for their photos. Good thing krispy kreme doughnuts gave my kids a hat the day we ate there in Trinoma last Friday and watched UP movie. (We actually end up watching UP in SM North because UP movie in trinoma is available only in 3d cinema. My kids don't like to watch with some sort of eye accessories).
My kids don't like hats that much. They just love to have a hat but they don't want to wear them. When the crew of Krispy Kreme gave the hats and the balloons to them, I immediately took a photos of them even I was at the counter that time because they will surely remove it after few minutes.

Mommy Moments : Dress Up Day

Catching up with you guys... I'm here again posting my entry soooo late lols =)

Here's my entry for the week's theme - Dress Up day!
I love dress up times...I love costumes! Just wanna share my kids last Halloween Parties and costumes. They were wearing Mickey and Minnie costumes. It was in SM North, Huggies Diaper Halloween Happenings and they both won Best in COstumes =)

That Halloween was Ethan's latest dress up day while Ishi just had her Filipininana costume =)

Now I have to look for new costumes for up coming Halloween this year. I am planning to have Tinkerbell for Ishi and Peter Pan for Ethan. Goodluck to me! =)
