Careerbuilder.com for my open positions
Because of the location of my small business it is sometimes hard to recruit qualified candidates to come work for my business. I have an amazing company but a lot of times when people find out where the office is they are a little hesitant to ride all the way out there on a train. I started looking around at other ways that I am recruiting candidates as opposed to the old fashioned way in the newspaper. I went on my Bronx T1 connection and started doing a little research and found that Careerbuilder.com is the number one way to start recruiting for candidates these days. I decided to get a few postings on the site and test it out to see if I got any good candidates. As it turns out I got so many good candidates that I had a really hard time narrowing down all of the people. This is a great problem to have especially in my area because it is a neighborhood that most people think of as too far away or hard to get to.

Emergency Calls
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Sprint for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
I so hate emergency calls especially when it's about my kids. My son Ethan was having a toothache last weekend but I still send him to school thinking that he's feeling better already. That day the school called me telling me that my son is crying and complaining about his tooth that is aching and they are asking us to pick Ethan up and bring home to rest and take medications. I don't have a car so I have to call my husband and tell him to pick up our son. This kind of call really scares me, I feel bothered and you can't stop me from thinking and worrying about my son. This is one of the reason why I really wanted to have a cellphone already. What if I was in the gym that time, I won't be able to answer our phone and they won't be able to inform me about my son. I guess it's about time to get a phone and not wait till I get a job coz I really need it now don't you think? Sprint has a limited sale online and I think this is really a great deal. You can get a Nexus S™ 4G for free or get the HTC EVO™ 3D for only $49.99 when you open a new line of service or add to your account! This is a great deal already right?

Things Come to an End for Walgreens and Express Scripts
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walgreens for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
We weren’t even aware of it, but it turns out that for the past year, Walgreens and Express Scripts have been having negotiations so that Walgreens can continue as part of Express Scripts’ network of pharmacy providers. Nevertheless, nothing came out of the negotiations and Walgreens’ contract, which expired on December 31, 2011, was not renewed.
Therefore, members of Express Scripts are now looking for other pharmacies, even those that are too far off, just so they can utilize their privilege. This is plainly an inconvenience to these customers. Worse, even TriCare, a health and prescription drug program enjoyed by men and women in the military, was dragged into the mess.
It’s a good thing that Walgreens is very much after the welfare of their customers, especially the country’s troops, so now, they are trying to negotiate another contract for TriCare. This negotiation would allow them to match their costs to other network pharmacies of TriCare. The idea behind this is so that there wouldn’t be any disruption of service.
Prescription Savings Club at Walgreens is also being extended to Express Scripts users who might still want to do business with them. They did this by lowering the annual membership fee for the whole month of January. The regular annual membership fee costing $20 and $35 for individuals and families respectively were lowered to just $5 for individuals and $10 for families.
Now more than ever, Walgreens need our support. Hence, let us show it to them by visiting and liking the fan page of Walgreens on Facebook or being updated with Walgreens on Twitter.
