Budgeting is the Hardest Job of a Wife

Am I right or I am the only one having a hard time doing it? Oh Please help me fellow moms! Lols!
You know when my husband and I got married we decided (it's hubby's idea) to hold each others salary, whenever I needed something I just have to list it down, give the total amount to him and that's it! I keep mine and he keep his. We have our own designated "gastos" lols! I felt so disappointed that time because I felt like my husband don't trust me with budgeting issues. Especially when someone's asking why my husband is not giving his salary to me. Lately, just this year, my husband is giving his ATM to me already. He's not asking for my list anymore. I am puzzled though I am happy coz I feel I am being trusted at last, lols! But now, honestly I am experiencing headache everytime I budget everything we need every payday. We are not paying any house rentals, we're only paying our condo amortization, we we're also not paying any water and electricity bills but the husband's salary is not enough unless I add my salary(too sad I can't). I don't have a fix income, we're lucky If I sell a property in cash coz if not, I have to wait for my money untill my client pay the whole downpayment and submit all he requirements. But's that's not the issue here coz we are not supposed to use my salary actually. We are saving it for processing fee of our condo on it's turn over date on 2010. I am really having a hard time budgetting my kids' baon, service vehicle payment and others. What a work! I never thought It's hard as this, how I wish I could turn back time and do our old set up, lols!
Joke only daddy! I am okay with this set up, I think i will get through with this soon, just let me do my job eheheheh =) And thanks for trusting me =)

Perfect Pancake Lesson

I always cook pancake for my kids ever since they started to eat solid foods. I am only buying ready to cook pancake but I can't still cook it perfectly (poor me). Sometimes it's not formed well, sometimes it is burned. I am still figuring it out one at a time why I always have these mistakes. I know I am not a good cook that's why I am practicing, though we all know making pancake is as easy as cooking an egg right? (Actually I had a hard time cooking an egg too hehehehe). Do you know that even if I can't make a perfect pancake, I am still teaching my three year old daughter Ishi how to cook one? Yes I do..... let me share you the complete lessons she got from making pancakes....
Whenever I am doing something, I wanted my daughter to be part of it. So when I am cooking pancake (since it was easy to do), I am inviting her to the kitchen and be part of the lessons - cooking, math, science, english and art. Here's what we do:
Ishi is going to mix the pancake powder with the water, she loves to stir it. I told her to say the word "stir, stir, stir" while she does it. And then she learned the word "STIR". After she has finally mixed it well, I'll ask her to watch me putting some butter or margarine in the pan then watch it transform from solid margarine to liquid margarine. Same with the pancake itself, before you cook it, it was liquid, and when it already cooked it'll became solid...then she began to learn about SOLID and LIQUID. When pancake is ready, Ishi loves to put strawberry syrup on top. ART time... she'll draw something she has in mind that time using the strawberry syrup on her pancake. After that, time to slice up the pancake into one half, then one fourth, one eight up to one sixteenth. She loves to do that, and then she learned some MATH.
I just realized a while ago (while we we're cooking pancake again), that I am always making a perfect pancake lesson. I may not teach her the good texture of a pancake, but I am proud to know she learned such things from me while cooking pancake. I should be proud right?

Buttons Up for ISHI!

Ishi always wanted to button her dad's polo shirts, she' always trying so hard but she can't do it yet not until yesterday. Thursday morning when his dad preparing for work, wearing his favorite blue long sleeves, Ishi volunteered to button her dad's polo. The sweet dad let her daughter and finally button one after a few minutes. We we're amazed coz some of the kids on her age can't do that yet. When my husband left I gave her another dad's polo shirt from his closet and let her practice it. Surprisingly she finished it earlier than I expected. I gave her another clothe, this time it's her uniform, and no sweat, she finished it faster than the first exercise. amommy is so proud of you my dear!!!!
Here's some of her pics while dong the "buttons up" lesson!

School Days Coming up!

Friday, last day of our practice waking up early in the morning so we could both adjust our body clock. I hope Ishi is ready on Monday, it's her big day, her first real school day as Nursery. I am so excited to watch her learn, grow and interact with new people. I enrolled her very early, I bought books and uniforms first week of MAy. Am I too much? I am also excited when we shopped for her school supplies. I actually wanted to shop last APRIL already but my husband stopped me because it's too early eheheh. How come I am so excited? Is it normal? Oh, I hope it is! Even f I am excited, my daughter seems to be excited too, she was hurrying when she heard were going to buy her most awaited trolley bag that day. I supposed to order personalized kid's backpacks online for her but the teacher said it's better to have them use a trolley bag. I only chose her school supplies because she doesn't know what to choose yet. We did all the shopping that day, groceries, her stuff and some new undies and pair of socks. I supposed to buy a laundry bag too but we don't have a budget for that yet so that can wait. When passing buy to school supplies corner, i saw this cute baby memory books that I used to buy when my kids are still in my tummy. I love to buy one also for my cousin who's six months pregnant this month. Anyway, those are my next target on our next shopping day schedule. My concern for now is to finish my kids stuff, label her books, notebooks and ther stuff. (To my hubby)Oh please, stop thinking I am an OC! I am just organize! =)

Mommy Moments No. 22 Take a Break

Being a mommy is fun TASK but sometimes we need to take a break, give time to your self and have some time with friends! My usual break is when I am blogging or watching movie in my computer. But this doesn't make me feel like I am taking a break. Sometimes I feel empty and looking for something that I don't know. When that's happening I usually going out, find someone to talk to, anybody that could make me laugh and talk and talk! I do have friends but most of them were busy with their own families now. My friends now are you, yes you my fellow bloggers. You're the only person who's updated about what's going on with my life right now. But writing isn't enough, I really need someone I can hang with, that's why I am asking Enchie, Chris and Phepot to see each other sometime. What about you? Do you wanna meet with us too? I wanted to meet new friends aside from my clients in real estate who's becoming my friends in the end. I wanted to hang out also, but since I don't have availble friends, I am also hanging out with my cousins and even with my aunts sometimes.

Last Friday I attended seminar at Eastwood Mall with my cousin Monica who had her vacation here n Manila and just wanted to attend seminar because of wanting to see Kitchie Nadal =). It's a back to back event hosted by CCF or Christ Commission Fellowship at Eastwood mall. A short seminar by Mr. Francis Kong and a mini concert of Kitchie Nadal. This is a great seminar, I didn't expect to enjoy the seminar, all I know is that I'll learn something from there that's why I attended. Francis Kong is really a good speaker. He also has a books but I can't afford to buy it yet, maybe soon. I had so much fun that night, hope to attend more free seminars of him again.

How bout you mommies? Share your moment with us HERE now!

I Really Need My Website Now!

Oh Gosh! I am so tired today! Just came from site orientation in Tropical Greens subdivision in Tagaytay City a new project of IPM. I wanted to try selling Tagaytay projects since they do have free service vehicle provided. I really need to add it soon in my ads. Speaking of ads, my sales last month is quite good and I am hoping to have more inquiries this suceeding months of the year. I really need to earn more money this year for we have so many obligations to pay next year. I really need to set a quota for myself. In order to reach that quota, I think I really need to hurry my husband finishing our website he's designing for almost a year now! Imagine that? He's really busy with his work that's why I totally understand. He actually wants to hire a web designer already but I don't like to because we don't have budget for that yet. I am hoping he'll finish it soon! I actually do have a web host choice already. I want an affordable but dedicated server hosting company that will expose my site and gathered more inquiries. More inquiries, more possibilities of more sales! My boss has a website and it really has a positive outcome to her sales. She has so many sales every month. She's reaching her quota of 10Million a month because of too much exposure of her ads in her website. That's why I am wanting to have my own website too!
